Costa Brava Family Holiday
If you’re looking to jet off somewhere hot and sunny then this Costa Brava family holiday will be perfect for you. This stunning stretch of Spanish coastline in the north-eastern region of Catalonia is perfect for a family holiday – beaches, excellent hotels and gorgeous towns full of restaurants and cafés! You’ll be flying directly from Dublin to Girona with Ryanair, and from there it’s just a half-hour drive to your hotel.
You’ll be staying at the Els Llorers Apartments, which have received fantastic reviews on Tripadvisor. They’re located in a peaceful residential area with the beach just a short hop away! There are two excellent pools for you to relax at and for the kids there’s a great playground where you can keep them entertained.
The apartments come with everything you need for a self-catered holiday, but should you fancy a meal elsewhere you can go to the hotel’s own restaurant and bar, or similarly head to the centre of Lloret del Mar where you’ll find amazing sea food. In the narrow streets of the Old Town you’ll find La Parrilla which offers hearty Spanish cuisine for an unbeatable price!
There are two gorgeous beaches in Llorte del Mar that I really recommend: Lloret Beach and Fenals Beach. The latter features some dramatic rock formations at one end thanks to the natural bay. The Santa Clotilde Gardens and Castell d’en Plaja offer fantastic walks in some beautiful settings. The Can Comadran is a small rocky beach that offers some seclusion and stunning waters.
